Dreame, stop spamming users with pointless waste tank notifications

Is anyone else annoyed by this?


After every cleaning, Dreame sends two notifications. One that cleaning is finished, and another telling me the mop pad was cleaned and that I should consider emptying the waste tank. The second one is completely unnecessary and frankly just spam.


What makes this even worse is that there is no proper way to disable only this useless reminder. I can only turn off all notifications, which is a ridiculous design choice because then I would also miss important alerts, like the robot getting stuck or losing a mop pad.


The system already has sensors for things like a full waste tank or empty clean water tank, so this constant reminder makes no sense at all.


Dreame really needs to fix this and add proper notification controls. Other manufacturers handle this much better.

I agree with you there. It would be great if you could choose whether you want to get every notification or just error messages.

Literally EXACTLY the same answer was given to another user here in this forum (US) a year ago. So basically nothing happened. No updates, no features. Just bla bla

It is quite annoying these notifications has made me reconsider buying anything from Dreame as I’ve realized that purchasing another product would only lead to more notifications and other inconveniences. In comparison, other companies seem to have better notification systems.
