Drying mops whisky cleaning

I have mopped my kitchen and it’s all done and now drying. However I want it to go and vacuum a carpeted room now. It leaves the mops behind, so why doesn’t it carry on drying them. It sounds like it stops drying when the vacuum leaves the base station. (It’s an x10 ultra)

It’s normal. Typically, if you know you’ll need to use the robot multiple times in a day, you can disable the automatic drying feature and let it dry at the end of the day when you’re done using the robot. That’s what I do.

It does seem an easy thing for them to fix in firmware though. There is no reason it can’t continue to dry whilst the vacuum isn’t using it is there?

You need to make it go back to vacuum again, and another one might need to redo a mopping session. Therefore, from a software perspective, it makes sense that the robot must be fully equipped with a complete docking base to handle the mop drying process properly.

If the mop pads are in the base station regardless of if the vacuum is there, surely it could be blowing the pads with dry air if needed? I’ve cleaned my whole downstairs and now I want to clean the next floor and don’t need the mops. The mops being sat wet in the base station unused seems stupid when they could be be getting dried?
