I have noticed an unusual behavior with the robot: during the cleaning operation, it ran out of water in the internal tank. When the pump was activated to wet the mops, I could hear the typical sound of a motor running dry, yet the robot kept cleaning as if nothing was wrong, with the cloths getting drier and the motor occasionally spinning without effect.
I would have expected it to detect the lack of water and return to the base to refill the tank.
How can I resolve this issue?
I also want to mention that the robot is only a few weeks old.
If you can confirm that there is water comes out from the water tank, we suggest you to set the“Frequency for the returning to self-clean”with the lower area to make the mop being wet enough.
Regarding your question about [Continuing to clean the internal water tank when it runs out of water], we recommend [If you can confirm that there is water comes out from the water tank, we suggest you to set the“Frequency for the returning to self-clean”with the lower area to make the mop being wet enough.].
