[X40 Ultra Complete] Why?

Hello,

Regarding the issue where the robot fails to detect the carpet when it shifts by 1–5 cm, we recommend slightly expanding the carpet area when adding it to the map.

Based on multiple map screenshots, it appears that the robot is unable to fully clean this carpet because it detects numerous obstacles (as shown in the images). If there are pieces of furniture blocking the cleaning path and causing narrow passages, we suggest adjusting the furniture placement to allow more space for the robot to pass through.

It's chairs and table legs. It fits through, and on 1 out of a 20 times it goes through.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience.

The robot's obstacle avoidance sensors use infrared detection. When light hits a highly reflective object, it is reflected back, whereas black objects can absorb the light. If your chair or table legs are black or made of reflective metal, this may affect the robot’s ability to recognise them properly and could result in collisions.
