[X40 Ultra Complete] Why?

Why is there even a carpet sensor?
If the function is only meant to detect a carpet once and then assume there will always be a carpet there. A smart vacuum cleaner should notice if the carpet is moved 10 cm or removed completely, shouldn’t it?
Or is it intended that Dreame’s products only work with permanently installed or taped-down carpets? Some carpets it scrubs, while some floor surfaces it treats as carpets just because there used to be a carpet there earlier.

It doesn’t feel very “automatic” as a cleaning assistant when it requires instructions, map adjustments, and other manual fixes every time you want to send it out! Instead of making life easier, it ends up creating extra work because you constantly have to double-check settings, update the map, or correct mistakes it makes.
A smart vacuum should adapt to changes in the environment, not get confused by them. If it can’t reliably recognize carpets, updated layouts, or small changes in the room, then the whole idea of automation loses its purpose.

Just as crappy as the L10s Ultra gen 2 I had to resend because of bad motherboard. I'd stay clear of these products!!

Giving me more anger then cleaning myself.
