Mop pads

Hi there
We’ve had our dreame robot hoover for about 5 months and recently the mop pads just keep falling off. They’re not getting caught on anything they just don’t seem to be gripping the pads
We’ve cleaned the mop heads with the brush but it’s not made any difference

Has anyone else had this issue?

Any tips to improve this are all welcome

Thanks

Hello,

1. Please ensure that the mop pad holders are installed while the robot is powered on. If installed while the robot is turned off, the magnetic attachment may not engage properly.

2. When the robot climbs over carpets, thresholds, or small steps, the mop pad holders may get stuck and detach. We recommend setting up mopping-restricted zones to prevent the robot from entering such areas with the mop pads attached. Before cleaning, please also tidy up any loose power cords on the floor to avoid entanglement that could cause the mop holders to fall off.

3. Try manually attaching the mop pad holders and check whether they are magnetically secured. You may also try swapping the left and right holders to see if that improves the situation.

4. Restart the robot and try again.

If the issue persists, we recommend contacting our after-sales support team for further assistance.

Thank you but this isn’t the issue - it’s not attaching the holders to the machine it’s attaching the pads to the holders as explained in the post. There is a design flaw in that after a few uses they are no longer sticky. We have cleaned them thoroughly and used pet hair remover. We have even bought replacements and the same happens again. They just lose their grip so easily!

Thank you very much for your explanation and response.

If that’s the case, you may contact our after-sales service to replace or order a new mop pad holder.
