Lights

Hello group 👋 recently purchased the l40 ultra ae👍 so far I’m loving it. When we first got it the front lights came on just in low light places , but recently the front lights don’t come on at all🤔 I’ve had it on live view through the in built camera and the lights come on , but as soon as I stop viewing the lights go off . The unit still operates ( vacuuming as normal ) it doesn’t bump or run into anything and avoids obstacles, I just can’t reason why the lights are not on as they were when we first bought it . Is this normal any help appreciated

Not a definite answer, but it’s possible your unit had a software update which changed the level settings requiring the light assistance.  As you say it’s still performing the same.

I was taking a video of it yesterday , on the video you can see the lasers scanning in front of the unit ( can’t see them with the naked eye) it’s just very strange lights not working maybe like you say it’s updated itself and it’s a new power saving thing . I could reset it but while it’s doing its job satisfactorily, I’ll leave it alone 🤣 thanks again
