Robovac refuses to mop selected zone

L40 Ultra AE owned for two months.

I've tried numerous times make the robocac mop an area of dirty marble tiles approx 1.7 x 0.4m, but it refuses to do so. It will vacuum it when specifically told to zone clean but won't mop. Under the normal all-floor cleaning schedule, the robovac will vacuum the adjacent carpet but will not enter onto the small area of tiles.

When instructed to mop this small area under zone cleaning, the robovac will navigate to the area, move around in the centre of the area then announce that it has completed mopping and that it is returning to the dock to charge. It does not even attempt to mop.

I don't know if the issue is because it is a small area sandwiched between a carpet and french doors, or because it's light coloured marble or because of the amount of light coming in through the doors (though admittedly it is scheduled to clean at 2am when there is no light). It has no issues mopping other larger areas of floor.

Any ideas?

I have a very similar problem with mine and a small gap, I just lift the rug from time to time and place it back for others.

Hello, we understand your analysis. Could you please provide your app map? Based on your description, it could be caused by glare from the mirror. You could try covering the mirror on the door before the next cleaning cycle to see if the device cleans.

It's also possible that your house is quite large, and the map has reached a critical point, preventing it from cleaning. You could try changing the cell tower location, placing it closer to the center of the map.
