[H12 Pro FlexReach] Water leaking from the motor vents

Hello, my dreame is having some issues.
Always used only the Dreame original washing liquid, always performed the self cleaning, it never fell. Today some water was leaking during the usage from the vents on the motor. Also, the dirty water was “blocked” in the container above the “filter” (adding a picture for better understanding - the dirty water was blocked in the yellow part without reaching the bottom of the container. The filter was well cleaned and nothing was blocking it). What could be the cause? What should i do now? Thanks

That doesn’t sound normal, especially water coming out of the motor vents, so I would stop using it for now.

A couple of things to check first:
- Empty both tanks, remove the filter, and make sure the filter and seal area are clean and fully seated (any small gap can make dirty water sit “above” the filter).
-  Check the dirty tank lid and gaskets for warping, hair, or grit. Even a tiny bit can break the seal.
-  Make sure the dirty tank is not over the MAX line and try not to tilt it past the normal operating angle, as that can send water where it should not go.
-  Leave the unit to dry fully (at least overnight) before testing again.

If it leaks from the vents again after reassembly, I’d raise a ticket with after-sales straight away and include this photo plus a short video of the leak. Also share your purchase date and serial number so they can move quicker.

Thanks a lot for the advice, i believe that I’m doing everything you mentioned :( Will test it again in a couple of days and if the issue persists will contact the assistance. Thanks!

Hello,

Please try to resolve this issue by following these steps:

1.Clean the filter before use and ensure it is completely dry.

2.Then remove the vacuum cleaner from the charging dock and turn it off. Take out the clean water tank and the dirty water tank, and air dry the water inside the vacuum cleaner.

Here are some precautions during use:

1.During cleaning, try to avoid bumping into walls or furniture. If the vacuum cleaner hits the corner of a table or wall, the water in the dirty water tank may slosh and cause water to enter the motor.

2.Try to avoid pulling the vacuum forcefully back and forth, as this may cause the water in the dirty water tank to vibrate and enter the motor.

3.Do not tilt the device backward more than 140° to prevent the vacuum cleaner from leaking water.

Hello, the filter and the tank are well cleaned after every use, nothing is blocking the water. I let everything dry for at least 24hours. Also, as soon as i get the notification message that the tank is full i immediately empty it.. what happened is really weird, this is my second machine and I think i’m using it “properly”. Will let the machine dry for at least a couple of days as I’m worried it went inside the motor. One question please - you wrote to not tilt it more than 140^, is this valid for the flex reach model? I thought i could reach 180^?Thanks again

Hello,

To prevent dirty water leakage, we recommend that the tilt angle should not exceed 140 degrees.
