Carpets

I have noticed that my robot spends a lot of time remapping carpets where it needs to avoid mopping.

If i create a manual carpet, would the robot use this information and not rempa every time, making the cleaning quicker?

I always mark out carpets and any other major things.  Not had any issue of it mapping again.

Hello, yes, manually adding carpets will reduce the robot's recognition time and improve cleaning efficiency.

However, please note that if a manually added carpet is removed, the robot will not be able to recognize that the carpet has been removed. In such cases, you would need to create a new map.
