Won’t dock

Hi all, just bought brand new. It’s all on a level floor. But can’t dock properly, it’s like it gets stuck.

maybe try wiping the charging contacts on both the robot and the dock as a bit of dust or packaging residue can stop it docking properly. also check the ramp is flat on the floor and the dock has a bit of clear space around it so it can line up straight. if it’s brand new it can also help to run a full map first then send it back to dock from the app a couple of times.

Please check whether there is enough space around the base station on both sides and in the front; otherwise, it may cause obstructions. The recommended clearance is approximately 5 cm on the left and right sides, and 1.5 meters in the front. Also verify whether the base station is placed on a level surface. If there is any slope or unevenness, please relocate the base station to a flat area and ensure that the extension ramp is properly installed to avoid affecting the robot’s ability to return to charge.

We also recommend checking whether there are any water marks on the driving wheels or in front of the base station. If so, please wipe them dry promptly. Please inspect the driving wheels, omnidirectional wheel, and the base station’s ramp for dirt or any debris that may be stuck. If you find any, clean them and wipe off any residue.

Make sure the base station is positioned away from sources of signal interference such as routers or televisions. Additionally, avoid placing it near mirrors, windows, or any reflective surfaces, as these may affect the robot’s docking accuracy.

If the base station has been moved, please manually align the robot with the base station and start cleaning from the base station to allow it to relocate properly.
