Upstairs cleaning

I move my robot upstairs. I have multi map on. Robot works perfectly. It cleans most rooms before I take back downstairs to the dock to charge. I then take back upstairs to finish the job. Robot doesn’t start where it left off. It starts back at the first room that’s already clean. Please advise what I’m doing wrong. It’s in its smart AI mode. Thanks

yeah you’re not really doing anything wrong, it’s just how the robot handles jobs. even with multi map on, once you take it downstairs to dock and charge, it basically resets the current cleaning task. when you bring it back upstairs, it doesn’t remember where it left off in that specific run so it starts again from the first room. to avoid this you’d need to either let it finish upstairs, pause it without docking on another floor, or manually select the remaining rooms instead of running a full clean again
