Mop Pads Failed to install

About 2 months ago the x40 ultra, keeps informing me the mop Pads failed to install during a daily scheduled mop after vac routine.

I've tried to changing the mop Pads
Cleaning the washboard
Removed as much hair etc as I can from the machine and dock.

Manually installing the the mop Pads, the unit works fine, but the point of the purchase was for the automation.

Can you advise how to resolve this?

since it works when you attach the mop pads manually, the issue is likely with the dock’s auto installation system. try making sure the robot is docking straight and sitting flush, then clean and dry both the pad attachment points and the dock mechanism as even small debris or moisture can block it. check the mop holders for wear or loose clips, and restart both the robot and dock to reset any glitches. if it still fails, it’s probably a hardware issue with the dock mechanism or sensors, so contacting support for repair or replacement would be the next step

Hello,

have you tried restarting the device to see if it resolves the issue? You may also try swapping the left and right mop pads to check if that helps.

Thanks for the responses.

The docking station has been thoroughly cleaned, however the mop pad tray may need to be replaced as the rubber roller at the bottom of the tray is filled with hair and difficult to remove it all.

Otherwise the robot sits flush, it's had a diagnostic Reboot, which doesn't seem to have made a difference.  The mops hands have been installed as centered as possible.

Ill contact service for a repair.

Try keep on top of clearing out the hair on a weekly basis.
