L40 Washboard

Any tips for ensuring the washboard removes dirty water after cleaning?

I push the water towards the suction point but I’m usually still left with some after manual cleaning.

Thanks!

Hello,

Regarding the issue you mentioned about the wastewater not being suctioned away, we suggest you pay attention to the following:

1. Please remove the cleaning tray and check if the drain outlet is blocked and clean it thoroughly (see attached image). Also, wipe the overflow sensor of the cleaning tray (see attached image).

2. Remove the wastewater tank and check if the used tank seal is loose or dirty. If so, manually reset it immediately and wipe it with a clean cloth (see attached image).

3. After emptying the wastewater, tighten the used tank clips, ensuring they are properly secured.

4. Place the used tank back into the base station and gently press it down to ensure it is properly installed.

5. Wipe away any remaining water in the base with a dry cloth, reinstall the cleaning tray, and check if the problem persists.

Note: Product structures may vary; please refer to the actual product.

worth checking if the unit is sitting perfectly level because even a slight tilt can stop water from draining properly. another thing is to run a quick self clean cycle right after manual cleaning so it pulls in anything left behind instead of letting it sit. if you’re using detergents (other than Dreame cleaner)or using too much can sometimes leave a bit of residue that slows drainage, so keeping that minimal can help too. not official fixes but they’ll make it a bit less annoying

Sounds like it’s not level. Definitely check that
