Can the X50 detect descending stairs?

Yes, it can. The X50 is equipped with cliff sensors on the bottom of the robot, which can effectively detect stairs, steps, and other areas with height differences. When the robot approaches the edge of a staircase, the sensors will detect the drop in elevation and promptly adjust its path to help prevent falls.

In addition, you can set up Virtual Walls or Restricted Zones in the Dreame app to prevent the robot from approaching stair edges or other sensitive areas, providing an extra layer of safety.
