Mopping rugs

Why has my hoover suddenly started to mop area rugs on a custom clean. Even though I’ve set the carpet areas. It’s only the third time I’ve run it and it’s not done it on the first two times. Am I doing something wrong?

You can tap on the carpet area in the map and check the carpet settings to see if it is set to "Ignore" mode. When "Ignore" mode is enabled, the robot may mop over the carpet.

It is also possible that the robot is not detecting the carpet correctly. In this case, we recommend cleaning the carpet sensor located on the bottom of the robot. You can also try manually adding the carpet area in the map to ensure it is recognized properly.
