Descaling

I own the L10s Ultra 3rd Gen. I live in a hard watwr area. Can I  use tap water for mopping? Does the Dreame official multisurface solution keep the tubes free of limescale? If not what water should inuse or how should i descale the machine?

To help reduce limescale buildup and extend the lifespan of your device, we recommend using filtered water for daily cleaning, or a mixture of tap water and purified water. This is especially beneficial in hard water areas, as reducing the mineral content can help minimize the risk of limescale accumulation in the water system.

If limescale has already formed, you may try using white vinegar or citric acid to clean exposed external components such as the wash tray and filters, which can help remove surface deposits.

Please note that the Dreame official cleaning solution is primarily designed to improve cleaning performance and remove dirt and stains. It does not completely prevent limescale formation.

We also recommend regularly cleaning the clean water tank, dirty water tank, and other related components, and following the maintenance guidelines provided in the user manual. Under normal circumstances, proper cleaning and routine maintenance will help keep the machine operating efficiently and reliably.
