Auto side brush extension problem

Today my dreams matrix 10 has decided not to auto extend the side brush. This has been set as default on since day one. Normal when it goes round the edges of the floors or the chairs legs, it extends and sweeps. Now however it is spinning but not extending. The mop is extending as expected but not the side brush. Any idea what’s going on? Or how to fix? I’ve toggled the setting for the auto side brush extension on the app but it’s made no difference.

If you have already checked the settings in the app and the side brush still does not extend automatically, we recommend that you try resetting the device:

Open the top cover of the robot. Near the Wi-Fi indicator, you will find a small reset hole on the side. Press and hold it for approximately 3 seconds until you hear the voice prompt: "Starting factory reset." Then restart the robot and check whether it is functioning normally.

Please note: Resetting the robot will erase all data, including any maps that have been created. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If the issue persists after the reset, it may indicate a hardware-related problem. In that case, we recommend contacting our after-sales support team and providing the following information:

Device SN (serial number)
Proof of purchase

Very odd. Tested it again without doing the rest and the auto extender worked so long as I have the settings to either clean genius or custom. However if I select vac only or vac and mop only the side brush does not extend with those programs. That has to be a bug in the software.
