Not sure why my model is not the header content but would like to ask if a floor detergent should be added to the main tank/clean water or only in the designated compartment. As I cannot feel or smell the detergent as it mops the floor.

Only in the detergent compartment, never in the clean water tank. Worth checking the dosage setting in the app too.

Im not sure to which setting you reffering to as looking in the app I cannot find any about the dosage only the mop wettnes and hot water settings during cleaning the mops. I am wrong thinking if that detergent is only to clean the mop pads or it does also uses a bit of it while cleaning the floor also Im not sure.

The L50 Ultra AE supports automatic detergent dispensing. Please add the detergent only to the designated detergent compartment. There is no need to add detergent to the clean water tank.

Please note that our cleaning solution is primarily designed to clean the mop pads and remove dirt, rather than to leave a strong fragrance on the floor. Therefore, while it may have a light scent, it is normal that you may not strongly smell the detergent during the mopping process.

What do you recommend to add to the detergent section to increase the smell to add a nice fragrance to the home whilst mopping? It would be nice to come home and have a nice clean fragrance after the mopping is finished, at the moment the fragrance is too weak to be noticed

At present, the L50 Ultra AE is only compatible with this official cleaning solution, and Dreame does not currently offer any other official cleaning solutions with a stronger fragrance.

We do not recommend using cleaning solutions from other brands. As the ingredients may vary between brands, they could corrode the water tank and internal pipes or cause blockages, which may result in device malfunction or damage.

At the same time, we fully understand your desire to use a scented cleaning solution during mopping to leave a fresh fragrance on the floor and further enhance the cleaning experience.
