Random map patterns

Why on earth does my X50 ultra sometimes do random floor cleaning? It doesn't always happen and doesn't seem to ever be on the same floor space just suddenly stops being methodical and goes here and there. Nothing in the way, sensors have been recently cleaned, can happen in various rooms and on various floor types. Almost just suddenly decides to go crazy. I half expect it to start floor writing me a message! Can anyone shed any light on why please? I've checked for update and there doesn't seem to be one. I'm in the UK.

Mine has the odd wander too. If it's happening regularly I'd do a factory reset and let it remap from scratch, see if it settles.

Regarding the issue of the robot cleaning in an irregular or seemingly random pattern, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

Check whether any debris, hair, or other objects are tangled around the main wheels. If so, please remove them.
Check the LDS (laser distance sensor) for any debris or hair buildup. If present, please clean it carefully.
Make sure there are no raised stickers, uneven attachments, or large objects on the surface of the robot. If there are, please remove them.
Gently press the front bumper to ensure it can move freely and spring back normally.
Clean the line laser sensor and the AI recognition sensor, making sure there are no fingerprints, dust, or other obstructions on them.
Restart the robot. If the issue persists, you may also try resetting the robot. Please note that resetting the device will erase all stored data, including your saved maps.
