L40 Ultra AE - Low detergent consumption

Hi everyone, I bought the Dreame L40 Ultra AE and have a question about the auto-detergent usage. My robot has done 3,318 m² and 3,368 mins of runtime. I have set it to wash the mops every 20 m² but the original detergent included in the box hasn't run out yet. The detergent cartridge is still half full. Is this extremely low consumption normal for the L40 Ultra AE, or is it abnormal? Thanks!

Worth checking the dosage setting in the app, as that makes a big difference to how quickly it goes down.

Hello,

When the mop pads are washed, the detergent is automatically dispensed into the water line and mixed with water. Under normal usage conditions, a bottle of detergent can generally last for about six months if the robot is used once per day. Therefore, the amount of detergent consumed during each cleaning cycle is relatively small.

You can remove the detergent compartment with the detergent still inside and gently shake it a few times. If liquid flows out from the marked outlet at the bottom, it indicates that the automatic detergent dispensing function is working properly and the detergent is being dispensed normally.

Thank you for your understanding.
