I just watched my L40 ultra avoid vacuuming a big patch of croissant crumbs on my floor. It looks like it saw the mess and then actively routed around it instead of vacuuming it up! I have the large particle ai setting enabled but these crumbs are smaller then your average pet kibble pieces.
In fact my L40 ultra has issues with this patch of floor in general. It is between a cupboard and a rug, the app recognises that it is not carpet, but the vacuum treats it like carpet as it stops the arm brush from rotating and increases the suction. This means it doesn’t vacuum to the edge properly, I had to enable the arm brush to work in carpets so it would use it there. I am not sure why it thinks that section is carpet when it’s not marked as such in the map. That section is wider than the vacuum so it’s not like it’s navigating half on and half off the rug. Also it did not take a photo or mark in the map that this was an obstacle to be avoided.
