I bought this robot hoover at the end of 2024. It sucks well, washes well... but over time I noticed that the hoover wouldn't empty, even with the automatic emptying function or when I pressed the button... in fact, the docking station regularly clogs up and so the hoover can't empty itself. Yet I don't get any error messages or anything. I have to unblock it myself with my fingers. It's a waste of time and I can't find a solution ...
Regarding your question about L40 ultra, we recommend:
Please follow the steps below for troubleshooting:
1. Please go to Self-Cleaning Settings to check the Auto-Empty Frequency, the robot will automatically collect dust according to the frequency you set.
2. After completing the cleaning task, manually click the dust collection/auto-empty button on the APP to see if it can collect dust.
1) If yes, pease check whether Automatic dust collecting/Auto-empty switch in the APP is turned off. If it is turned off, please turn it on and try again.
2) If not, please send after-sales services a video to show the robot's issues, your APP account ID, and the SN code of your robot (SN label at the bottom of the robot) for further assistance.
3. Please check if the robot is set to the Do Not Disturb (DND) mode, the base station will not perform auto-empty tasks during DND mode. Please go to "Robot management" to turn off the DND mode and try again.
4. Please make sure that the robot prompts "cleaning task completed" and returns to recharge by itself. If the battery is insufficient for recharging or artificial interference in the recharging process, it will not automatically collect dust.
5. After the robot successfully returns to the base station and hears the voice prompt "Start Auto-empty" or click "Start auto-empty"/dust collection button in the APP, the base station will collect dust automatically.
