This happened to me too, about 1 month ago. This is strange hearing other people had the same problem in the same period. In my case, Dreame didn’t accept free repair since I had to open my Dreame L10s Ultra about 7 months ago after I run on my puppy dog poo accidentaly (bad robot AI didn’t detected it!!), and since the poo was all inside the wheels and the robot, my only choice was to open it and clean it inside. For this reason Dreame refused to repair my dreame now for the vacuum problem (which happened 1 months ago and its completely unrelated to the first opening).
Btw, I solved the problem by myself, it was the vacuum component failure (the vacuum had random shutdowns while cleaning): I ordered the replacement from aliexp***, and again, I opened the robot, detached almost 30 screws, wires and components, replaced the vacuum, and mounted it back. It is working now, but I’m extremely disappointed with Dreame assistance, with the robot’s ai and software (very buggy, bad ai, etc) and its bad design (if it was designed better, it would be sufficient to detach the wheels to completely clean them inside from the poo, without unmounting it and loosing the warranty) and I will never purchase more Dreame products in future. |
