Just got my Dreame yesterday the X50 Ultra and I’m loving it, the app is easy to use and I’ve been able to set what the hoover needs to do in each room. My cats are intrigued but “Roger” as we’ve named him as not captured any photos yet.

For the past few months, I've been having an issue with my Dreame L40 Ultra. From time to time, I get an error saying it failed to install the mop pads. Manually adjusting the pads, driving the vacuum in and out of the base multiple times to re-dock it, and even replacing the pads with new ones doesn't help. Then, after a few days, it mysteriously fixes itself and starts working again. Has anyone else experienced this?

Once your friend or family member accepts the device-sharing request in the app, both of you will be able to control the robot through the app.

Additionally, we recommend verifying that both devices are set to the same country/region in the Dreame app. If different regions are selected, sharing invitations may not be received properly.
An unstable network connection may also prevent sharing requests from being received. Please ensure that both phones are connected to a stable internet connection (Wi‑Fi or mobile data), and then try sending the sharing invitation again.

Tap the three dots in the upper-right corner.
Select Device Sharing.
Enter your friend's or family member's account ID.
Tap Share.

For the Xiaomi Home App:

Go to the device page.
Tap the three dots in the upper-right corner.
Enter the Settings page and select Device Sharing.
Tap Mi Account.
Enter your friend's or family member's account ID.
Tap Confirm.

Very easy setup, all hard wood flooring 2 rooms and a long hallway cleaned the lot within half a hour very satisfied with the end result.
The app is fantastic and easy to use also linked it to Alexa for everyday convenience.
Also setting time for cleaning before the family get up, was concerned  about the noise being early in the morning but the vacuum is very quiet when it docks it has a bit of noise but having the docking station in the living room eliminates that problem.
