Dreame X50 very poor hardwood pick up

I just got the X50 today and ran it at maximum suction three times in the kitchen and it hardly picked up half the crumbs and dust. I've seen videos where it picks up 100% in one pass, so I'm thinking there might be a problem with my unit.

I restarted the device and now it performs very well
