I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with my Dreame X50 Ultra Complete. The robot consistently drives into my swinging chairs at alarming speed. These chairs have 2 cm-high legs, which the AI correctly identifies (including photo recognition) and even marks as objects that may trap the device. Yet instead of avoiding them, the robot crashes into the chair legs again and again – sometimes even after the cleaning cycle has finished, on its way back. This behavior not only damages my furniture but also the robot itself. The underside already shows scratches, and I regularly have to pick up bristles from the side brush at the chairs. The side brush is wearing out extremely quickly. At this rate, I fear the device will literally fall apart within months. It also feels like the robot is generally too eager to climb over or cross objects, even with obstacle avoidance enabled. This behavior is both illogical and harmful to the product. Please note: Defining a no-go zone is not a real solution here. Chairs are never placed millimeter-perfect in exactly the same position, so the robot will still attempt to drive into them sooner or later. It is unacceptable that a premium device like the X50 Ultra behaves this way. I urge you to escalate this issue immediately to your development team and provide a proper software solution. The AI must not only recognize obstacles but also avoid them reliably and carefully. Please respond with a prompt solution. Sincerely,
Chris
