dreame X50 Ultra cannot dock

I just bought a brand new X50 Ultra. After setting it up, I tried about 10 times but it couldn’t return to the station. It keeps failing to align with the dock and most of the time just circles around it.

I tried several different positions and it’s the same, even though the area around it should be clear enough.

How can I fix this?

Place the robot 1-2 meters in front of the charging dock/base station, and briefly press the "Dock" button on the robot. If the robot cannot return to the charging dock/base station, please directly contact the seller or our after-sales department for further assistance.

If the robot can return to the charging dock/base station for charging, please follow the instructions below:

1. The charging dock/base station should be placed against the wall. Ensure that there are no obstacles within 1.5 meters in front and 0.5 meters on both sides of the base.
2. Keep it away from signal interference, such as routers and TVs.
3. Avoid mirror reflections opposite the dock, such as mirrors or windows.

During cleaning, ensure that the robot starts from the charging dock/base station, and check if the LDS laser sensor on top of the robot is rotating normally.

Open the robot's top cover and press the reset button for 3 seconds to restart the robot. Then move the base to an open area and try again.
