Struggling returning to the base station

The base station has a lip up but the first step of it is a little steep. My hoover doesn’t like returning and sometimes gets one side up and then backs out before getting stuck in this loop. Do I need to move it away from the wall or something? Anyone else has this issue. Picture is of it’s current location

The base station should be placed against a wall. It is recommended to position the base in a relatively open area and ensure that there are no obstacles within 1.5 meters in front and 0.5 meters on either side of the base.

Try to keep it away from signal interference sources, such as routers and televisions.

Ensure there are no reflective surfaces directly opposite, such as mirrors or windows.

After moving the base station, please place the robot on the base and start cleaning from the base station.

The two lipped tabs at the start of the entry ramp you mentioned are truly annoying for the robot. Mine did the same until I sanded them down, now the robot is happy to return home.
