Google play app category

I believe the app is designed as a special type of app like a game app or something. My navigation buttons keep disappearing when I'm in the app and that only happens in this app or game apps. This is very annoying when trying to navigate the app, i can’t count how many times I've accidentally sent the robot back to dock instead of hitting the back button.

You can try swiping up from the bottom to see if the bottom navigation bar reappears.
