X40 Ultra does not use AI to learn and remember new travel paths to rooms

I find that the X40 does not remember a new unobstructed path to a room when there is an obstacle in its path.  The X40 fights to find a path, figures it out and continues to the room.  The return path is not affected, for whatever reason and the obstacle does not cause an issue.  When the same cleaning is selected later, it AGAIN fights this obstacle in the same way and finally continues its travel path.  If this is AI based, there seems to be a learning issue with the X40, since it repeats exactly the same problem and does not incorporate any changes to navigate the obstacle.  This issue repeats in the same manner with other situations.  The obstacles were not present during the initial mapping process.

Please advise how to correct this repeating issue of navigation.

Hello, we recommend setting fixed obstacles as no-go zones. This can effectively improve the issue of the robot repeatedly identifying and navigating around obstacles.

obstacles are chair legs that remain in the same position.The chairs are removed when doing a deep cleaning then replaced in the same position.No-go will NOT work since it blocks normal cleaning

I also have this problem. It would be good if you can select a “preferred route” so that the robot chooses that route when making its way to other rooms
