[X50 Ultra Complete] Resume mopping on 1. floor (without the dock)

Hi Dreame

I've seen this post:
[X50 Ultra Complete] How to resume cleaning

The following is unclear to me. If I place the X50 on a different floor than the base station, at some point it says, “Take me to the base station to clean the mops.” In the meantime, the X50 continues cleaning. If I then pick it up and manually place it in the base station, and it cleans its mops, and I return it to the floor it was cleaning within 15 minutes, it starts the cleaning process from the beginning.

How can I make sure it continues cleaning from where it left off on that floor?

Dreame Support

Sorry, the device does not support the continued cleaning task on the Multi-floor map for the time being.

1. If you do not want to move the base station upstairs for cleaning, the robot cannot return to clean the mop without the base station, so it can only support single sweeping mode.

After moving the machine upstairs, select the corresponding map in the map management to start the cleaning task.

2. If you want the robot to sweep and mop at the same time,

The first method: please move the base station upstairs, and then select the corresponding map in the map management to start the cleaning task. After the upstairs cleaning task is completed, you need to move back to the first floor and put the base station back to its original position on the first floor;

The second method: please turn off the self-cleaning function in the APP. At this time, the robot will perform dry mopping.

Ane have this question;

I have the same issue.

I would suggest that a setting be made (in the app) where you can turn on/off that when the robot detects that the mop needs to be washed, it should drive to its starting position (where you put it - in this case on the 1st floor), and then wait for you to pick it up, carry it down to the dock.

When the cleaning of the mop is finished, you can pick up the robot again, carry it up to the 1st floor, press start, after which it continues.

It seems quite illogical that the robot continues cleaning even though it is aware that the mops are dirty.

Regards, Rasmus
