L50 Pro Ultra side brush stopped rotating

Hi all,

My new Dreame L50 Pro Ultra (bought on November 21st, 2025) side brush is no longer rotating since today. The "AI-driven side reach" is still working, e.g. the L50 Pro Ultra extends its side brush for example in corners, but as mentioned: it is not rotating anymore.
Tried so far:
- cleaning/removing any debris/hairs etc. from the side brush (as well as from other parts, wheels, and more)
- remove and replace the side brush to ensure no debris/hairs below
- switch off and switch on L50 Pro Ultra
- ensure not in 'carpet mode' (note: side brush auto extending still working)
- ensure latest firmware
- ensure latest app versions
- cleaning sensors
Any suggestions or does this need a service by Dreame?

We recommend trying a factory reset.

To reset the robot: open the top cover of the unit. Near the Wi-Fi indicator light, you’ll find a small reset hole. Press and hold it for about 3 seconds until you hear the voice prompt saying “Restoring factory settings.” Then restart the robot and check whether it operates normally.
