[A2] A2 Questions
Anyone running the Dreame RoboticMower A2 on a large lawn or steep/curved garden?

It claims up to 3,000 m², handles up to 50% / 26.5° slopes, and the edge cutting is meant to get within <5cm.

My questions:

-  How many charge cycles to finish a big lawn?
-  Any slipping/digging on slopes (especially when turning)?
-  How good is it on curved borders and around beds, still loads of trimming needed?
-  Any issues with separate zones / narrow passages?

The New A3 also looks very promising.

Hello, I will try to help you with these questions as much as I can.

For question 1, the mowing efficiency are 1,000m²/24hrs in standard mode, and 2,000m²/24hrs in efficient mode. So, you can calculate the time based on the size of your lawn.
2. There is no slipping for A2 since it has very stable and tough wheels.
3. It performs well on curved edges by following along the boundary for precise edge cutting and even can be controlled manually.
4. There are some reported navigation issues with A2 moving in narrow passages due to its requirements of enough spaces. So, please make sure there is enough space for the mower to move freely.

Thanks for interesting in Dreame mowers and contributions in the community.
I have slopes on my lawn, but the Dreamy A2 does slip quite a bit and damages the lawn with it. I have found after market spikes that hopefully will fix this.

How much is it?  Does it need to be professionally installed?
