[X50 Ultra Complete] Multi floor map issues?

Does anyone know why my x50 has started to clean a room in little segments (see photo). Previously it was fine and cleaned in a logical pattern. I’ve now added a 1st floor map (no other setting changes) and now it’s cleaning the ground floor rooms in an unusual pattern, and not completing the room.

It also seems to randomly remove mop pads halfway through the cleaning task, for no apparent reason

A few things worth checking:
1.        Before starting, make sure you have the correct floor map selected and set as current.
2.        Try “restore map” if you have a backup from before you added the new floor.
3.        If not, delete just the new floor map and add it again, then test the ground floor pattern.
4.        If rooms are split weirdly, try re-dividing/merging the rooms on the map and save.

On the mop pads being removed mid-task, that usually happens when the robot switches into a vacuum-only behaviour or it thinks it’s entering a carpet-only section. Check if any carpet zones or rugs are marked in that area, and check settings like “vacuum carpets first” or anything that changes mop behaviour on carpet. Also worth checking the pads are seated properly and the pad brackets/magnets are clean.

Richard is spot on with his answers, that's what I would be chucking.

Probably just delete your map and start fresh
