Brand new robot vac not returning to hone

If you manually put it back in the station then get it to go do a fresh map does it still struggle?

Based on the video provided, the issue may be caused by the base station not being placed according to the required guidelines. Please follow the instructions below to reposition the base station:

The base station should be placed against a wall. It is recommended to place the base in an open area and ensure that there are no obstacles within 1.5 meters in front of the base and 0.5 meters on both sides. Keep it away from signal interference sources such as routers or televisions. Avoid placing it facing reflective surfaces such as mirrors or windows.

If the base station has been moved, please manually dock the robot with the base and start the cleaning from the base station.

During cleaning, make sure the robot starts from the base station and check whether the LDS laser sensor on the top of the robot is rotating normally.
