Random map created

Hello.
Every now and then my robot creates a new map by itself and crawls randomly around the house.
It then saves the map and refuses to run scheduled jobs, which are using a different saved map.
I have to manually change the map back to make it work again.
I have done a proper floor map, backed it up, works flawlessly most the times.
I’m regularly cleaning sensors, lidar, pads, …
I’m doing it all. Still sometimes this one thinks it’s somewhere else.
Does it want to escape???? Doesn’t it want to be with me any more?

Jokes apart, what could that be?

I can’t comment on its desires. But actions speak louder than words…..
Have you moved the base station at all?

Hello,

The robot will automatically update the map during cleaning, and this function cannot be disabled at the moment.

If there are any glass surfaces or mirrors in your home, we recommend covering the bottom approximately 15 cm of them to avoid interference.

In addition, please make sure to back up the map promptly when it is correct, so that you can restore it in time if the map changes unexpectedly.

There actually is a large glass surface on the area which gets “extended”.  So because of the reflection, Lidar thinks there’s more surface. Makes sense.
Please add the option to stop auto updating the map. This would be very useful, at least to me.
