[X40 Ultra Complete] Can anyone help?

My hoover won’t pick up its mops, if I place them on they magnet on well but it’ll drop them straight away when I set it to clean.

Hello,

Please check if the mop pad adheres properly to the mop tray before operation. If the mop pad fails to adhere properly or becomes uneven after multiple uses, it needs to be replaced promptly.

When the robot navigates obstacles, it may get stuck, causing the mop tray to fall off. We suggest setting up no-go zones to prevent the robot from bringing the mop pad into these areas.

We also recommend using the app to operate the robot. The robot will automatically leave the base station. To return the robot to the base station, use the return-to-charge button on the main unit. This prevents the mop tray from getting stuck at the base station.

you might also want to check the actual mop holder and not just the pads. if they’re snapping on magnetically but dropping as soon as it starts, there could be some dirt or wear around the clips or magnetic contacts stopping them from locking properly. give the area a quick clean and make sure nothing looks loose or worn. it’s also worth trying a quick test run without starting a full clean, just let it move around and see if the trays stay attached. that can help figure out if it’s something happening during cleaning or just movement in general. if they’re still dropping straight away on a flat, open area, it does sound more like a fault with the mop assembly, so i’d push support for a replacement tray or unit

I didn’t but the unit new so so far I have had absolutely no support. The magnets are fine it seems more like a system fault
