[L40 Ultra] Vaccine not working properly

Hello, the first month or so with the dreame L40 AE ultra were great. But now for some reason it does a really bad job of vacuuming. I’ve tried everything from emptying the dustbin at the dock station, cleaning filter, replacing the main roller but it will still just do an awful job of vacuuming. Even on max suction power.

Ends up leaving these hair rolls all over the flat. As well as carrying cat litter and dropping it round the flat too, so actually after using it, the flat looks dirtier rather than being more clean.

Can anyone help?

Greeting,

You may also check whether there is any hair or debris blocking the suction inlet at the bottom of the robot. If so, please clean it promptly.

In addition, if the main brush does not lower properly during vacuuming, it may also cause this issue. You can observe whether the main brush can descend normally. If it cannot, you may need to send the device to a service center for further inspection.

check the side brush because if it’s worn out or not spinning properly it can flick litter and hair around instead of guiding it into the suction path. another thing worth checking is whether the auto empty function is actually clearing the internal bin fully because sometimes compacted pet hair can partially clog the channel between the robot and dock even if it sounds like it’s emptying.

This happened to us, too. Put your hand in the bottom of the vacuum, there’sa tunnel and you’ll need to pull all the hair out as it’s blocking the vacuum. Make sure in settings that you put the vacuum emptying frequency to maximum, as this helps stop the hair building up, which blocks the ability for it to vacuum so it just spits the litter out.
