Robot scatters cat litter

I have a L40 Ultra and very happy with it but we have a cat and use lightweight paper based cat litter. The robot manages to catch some but somehow scatters it about worse
than the cat does (😩) so I have to go around with a dustpan and brush after a clean. Are there specific settings that would help. I have it set for pets.

lightweight litter is tough for most robot vacuums because the side brush tends to flick it around instead of pulling it straight in. you could try lowering the suction and switching to quiet or standard mode for the area around the litter tray since max suction can sometimes make the scatter worse. another thing that helps is creating a no mop zone around the tray and running an extra vacuum pass just in that area. maybe even put a larger litter mat outside the tray so the robot picks up less loose litter in the first place.

Hello,

In this case, we recommend increasing the frequency of auto-emptying. If there is any lint or hair clogging the suction inlet, it may also prevent the cat litter from being properly picked up, so please make sure to clean it regularly.

Some models are equipped with a pet mode, which enhances cleaning performance around pet-related areas. If your device has this feature, we recommend enabling it.

We hope these suggestions help improve the situation.
