Cutterhead not spinning

I noticed the lawn being put in patches before not being cut at all. The Mower moves along and has a hum sound as if it is trying to turn the cutterhead, but the plate is not spinning and no grass is being cut. It is still under warranty until August 2027. Can you talk me through a solution please.

Regarding the issue you encountered, please follow these steps to troubleshoot:
① Is the current lawn height lower than your set mowing height?
② Are the blades clean and free of jammed grass?
③ Are the blades severely worn? Replace the blades if necessary.
④ Is the lawn too dense?

if you can hear the motor humming but the cutter plate is not actually spinning then it could also be worth checking whether anything is wrapped around the cutterhead underneath, as small bits of grass, string or debris can sometimes stop it turning properly. if the blades and plate move freely by hand when powered off and it still will not spin during mowing then it may unfortunately be a motor or drive issue, especially if it has started leaving random uncut patches
