[X40 Ultra Complete] Side brush

Since installing my new robot hoover the side brushes have never operated.  Is it a fault with the robot or do i need to change a setting within the app?

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please try the following steps to resolve the issue:

1. Check whether the side brush is deformed or tangled with debris.
2. If the side brush is deformed, please replace it with a new one.
3. If there are foreign objects: During operation, the side brush and main brush may become entangled with items such as power cords or charging cables. Please remove the side brush and clear any debris. After cleaning, you can place the robot near the cleaned area to resume operation. We also recommend tidying up loose cables on the floor before cleaning to prevent further entanglement.

I had a similar issue, side brush only works on hard floors. Found there was a setting that needed to be changed to work on carpet too. Might be worth a look.
