[L40 Ultra] L40 Ultra AE Making Loud Noise When Vacuuming

Any ideas why my robot is making this sound ? I've changed the filter and brush, checked and cleaned everything but no changes
I got it 3 months ago, nothing happened, its so weird, cant use like that
I am very disappointed, I recommended the robot to my friends, and one of them purchased exact the same a few weeks ago!

Hello,

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. We fully understand your concern. Please try the following steps:

First, remove the side brush, main brush cover, main brush, and mop holder from the bottom of the robot. Then start cleaning and follow the steps below:

If the noise disappears:

1. Install the side brush first and start the robot. If abnormal noise occurs during operation, please check whether the side brush is deformed or tangled.
2. After installation, check if the side brush is working properly. The rubber strip on the main brush cover may rub against the floor—please observe after a few uses.
3. If abnormal noise occurs after installing the main brush, remove it and check whether there is any debris tangled at both ends. When reinstalling the cover, make sure all four sides are properly secured.

If the noise persists:

1. Power off the robot, press and slide both sides of the main wheels to check whether they can rotate smoothly and rebound when released. If there are any foreign objects, please clean them thoroughly.
2. Rotate the caster wheel and check if it spins smoothly. If not, please clean it.
3. If the filter has been washed with water, ensure it is completely dry before use. A damp filter may cause abnormal noise during operation.

If the issue still persists, we recommend contacting our after-sales team, and provide your device’s SN (serial number), proof of purchase, a video of the issue, and the troubleshooting steps you have already performed. We will be happy to assist you.

Hi, thanks for getting back to me,
I've tried those steps and the noise is still there unfortunately even without the brushes
I also changed into a brand new brush and filter to make sure these were not blocked and can confirm the filter is fully dry but the noise was still there

I'm running the robot in the same configuration since day one and I know this sound is not normal

I also noticed that it is worse after washing the mop (not sure if its just coincidence) but there is a weird noise when washing it too however I cannot upload videos to the comments

I already contacted the after sales but did not get a reply via email
