L40s pro ultra deep cleaning

Hi,

I’ve had the l40s pro ultra for 5 months now, and this morning it went over liquid dog poo and is now caked in it.

I need to clean the robot thoroughly, but the robot has warranty void paper covering screw holes I will probably need to access to clean it.

How can I properly clean the robot without voiding the warranty?

i wouldn’t remove the warranty seals or open the robot, as that could affect the warranty. remove all user-serviceable parts (main brush, side brush, mop pads, dustbin and caster wheel), clean everything thoroughly with a damp cloth, mild soapy water and cotton swabs, then let it dry completely. if you think the liquid waste has gotten inside the chassis or it’s still smelling or not working properly after cleaning, i’d contact dreame support first and ask for their recommended cleaning or service procedure rather than breaking the warranty seals.

We recommend that you remove any user-serviceable and detachable parts, such as the main brush, side brush, and mop pads. Then, carefully clean the robot’s exterior and these components using a damp cloth. After cleaning, please ensure that all parts are thoroughly air-dried and completely dry before reassembling and using the device, as residual moisture may cause operational issues.

At the same time, we do not recommend disassembling the main body of the robot or removing any warranty seals, as doing so may affect your warranty coverage.
