Mopping Detergent

We have the L10 Ultra Gen 2, I've been reading that the cleaning detergent is only added to the mops to help clean the mops. Is it possible to add detergent to the clean water tank, and if so, which product(s) can I use? Thanks

We recommend using Dreame's official cleaning solution. You can add it directly to the clean water tank: after filling the tank with clean water, add approximately one capful (about 28 ml) of cleaning solution, then gently shake the tank to ensure it is thoroughly diluted and mixed before use.

Please note that, to avoid affecting the device's performance or causing corrosion or blockages, we do not recommend using non-official cleaning products or detergents that produce excessive foam.

People have been known to add a tiny bit to the clean water tank but doing so might void the warranty if it develops a fault. My recommendation is in mop mode. You can get it to clean the mops which will soap them up for cleaning and get it to re clean the pads room by room or you can select a smaller area of floor for it to mop before it goes back to wash the mops and continue where it was last cleaning. I would stick to doing either of those rather than adding the detergent to the clean water tank.
