It’s good but….

I’ve had my L50s pro ultra for around a week now and am overall pleased with its cleaning ability. I am yet to see the extended side arm in operation and there is a spot that I would really like it to tackle. A couple of strange things that’s happened include the vacuum deciding it to clean on its own today. Apparently it was through voice command but I wasn’t even in the same room and I didn’t have the app open. Also when I have tried to use the voice command to tell it to vacuum the kitchen it trundles right past me and heads in the opposite direction towards the hallway. So I don’t think I will be using the voice control function anytime soon but apart from that it is making life so much easier 😊

Regarding the issue where the extended side brush does not deploy in corners, we recommend checking the following:

Please make sure the robot is connected to a Wi‑Fi network. If it is not connected, please connect it first. The extended side brush function is only available after network configuration.
Please check whether the AI-driven SideReach function is enabled. If not, enable it and set it to High Frequency, then observe whether the side brush extends normally.

Path:
Three dots (top right) → AI-driven MopExtend Settings → AI-driven SideReach

If the side brush can extend and retract, then the function is working normally. If it never extends, there may be an issue with the side brush motor.

Regarding the voice control issue, we suggest checking whether the robot may have been started accidentally by another family member, or whether any automatic cleaning schedules have been configured.

Please also note that the robot's voice control currently recognizes only the default room names. Even if room names have been changed in the app, voice commands may still refer to the original default room names, which could explain the unexpected cleaning behavior you experienced.
