Is there a feature or can there be one where you can select a preferred path for the robot to take.

Where my dock is, the robot can take 2 pathways to get to the other rooms. Pathway 1 is completely clear of obstacles and pathway 2 has obstacles like chair legs. The robot always chooses path 2 and hits the chair legs disrupting its path. I would prefer the robot to use pathway 1 but theres no way of instructing the robot to take that path.

I don't want to block pathway 2 as this still requires cleaning when i select this room to clean.

Or is there a way to specify an area has obstacles like chair legs so to avoid this bit unless it is cleaning the area?

Unfortunately chair legs don't seem to be recognised by the AI

Regarding the robot bumping into chair legs:

1.Check the AI camera:
Please check whether the AI camera is covered by dust, dirt, or any other obstructions. A dirty camera may affect its recognition performance. Clean the camera carefully to ensure it functions properly.

2.Restart the robot:
After completing the above checks and cleaning, please restart the robot.

3.If the obstacle is dark in color, has a small contact surface, or cannot be effectively detected by the robot, slight collisions may occur. When the robot encounters an obstacle or becomes trapped, it may move along the edge of the object it has contacted and activate edge-cleaning mode.

The robot's obstacle avoidance sensors use infrared sensing technology. Infrared light reflects when it shines on an object, while black objects tend to absorb more light. As a result, obstacle detection may be affected when dealing with certain dark-colored or highly reflective objects. For black furniture or similar areas, we recommend setting restricted zones on the map, or adjusting the furniture position before cleaning for a better experience.

Regarding path selection:

1.Use virtual walls to guide the robot toward the preferred route, if your home layout allows it.

2.Adjust the room cleaning sequence.
