Clean genius missed a room

So all rooms are mapped. Nothing blocking all access to all room. After completing mopping it return to the dock to get rid of the mop pads to start vacuuming. Came into the front room and vacuumed. But then stopped to say it wanted to empty the bin. It did that and returned to the front room. But it then did not continue to vacuum and it also decided not to go to the porch to vacuum that carpet. It just decided to return to the dock. Robot dustbin was empty so it made no sense why it did not continue vacuuming the front room or vac the porch. Afterwords I set the robot under custom clean to do the porch which it then did, but clean genius failed to do so.

We recommend that you tap on the carpets in the porch and the front room within the map and check whether the "Avoid" option has been enabled for those carpeted areas.

In addition, based on the cleaning record, the robot detected a pair of shoes near the entrance to the porch. This may be the reason why it did not enter the porch area during the CleanGenius task.

We suggest removing the shoes (and any other potential obstacles near the entrance), then starting a new cleaning task to see whether the robot can enter the porch and clean it normally.

It had been doing this task for multiple days no problem. All setting are correct and the robot was told the shoes obstacle as to be forgotten. Only in clean genius does it miss the porch. In custom clean mode it does it without problems. Clean genius it won’t even drive to that area.

2. Check whether the carpet pile height in the porch area exceeds 2 cm. Carpets with a higher pile may be identified by the robot as obstacles, which could prevent it from entering the area for cleaning.
3. If furniture or other objects are narrowing the passageway, the robot's access to certain areas may be restricted. We recommend adjusting the placement of such items to provide sufficient space for the robot to pass through.
4. Please use a clean, soft, dry cloth to wipe the robot's laser sensor, obstacle avoidance sensors, and front sensors to ensure that dust or dirt is not affecting their detection performance.

In addition, please note that CleanGenius mode uses AI algorithms to independently determine cleaning strategies and path planning. It dynamically adjusts the cleaning range and route based on environmental recognition, historical cleaning data, and real-time obstacle detection. In certain situations, the AI may make different cleaning decisions for specific areas, which can result in cleaning routes or area coverage that differ from those of Custom Clean mode. After completing the checks above, we recommend observing the robot's performance again in CleanGenius mode to see whether the issue improves.
