Not collecting thefluff

I have the dreame aqua 10 ultra but when hoovering the carpet it struggles to collect all the fluff, see picture.

I have a dog but I’ve hoovered the carpet just before dreame goes out but it makes no difference, slightly disappointed with it.

Hi. I have the matrix10 so the machine is quite similar. For the area you’re wanting to vacuum. On the map have you selected that area is carpet low pile? Also with mine there is a setting to lower the height of the robot over carpet. Have you also in custom set it to vacuum at max power in that area? If you’ve done all that have you checked the robot rollers? Or the robot dustbin to make sure nothing is clogged either in the robot or when it then empties into the docking station? If everything seems normal then I feel sorry for you. The aqua10 does have a smaller on board waste bin due to the fact it has an on board dirty water tank. Was this the first room it vacuumed? If not the bin might be full before it was going into this room. If that’s the case in settings. You can set manual tasks to be done one by one. Task one set it to clean this room first at max vac, then get it to return to the dock to empty, then add the next room as a separate task, and so on. If doing all that still does help I would contact Dreame with your situation and pictures and see if they could do an exchange if the robot has a fault or see if they could swap you for the matrix10 as I highly recommend it. Based on the photo you provided, the remaining debris appears to consist mainly of fluff, lint, and similar fibrous material. When static electricity is present on the carpet surface, or when these light fibers become entangled with the carpet fibers, they can be more difficult to remove. For robot vacuum cleaners, the cleaning performance for this type of debris may be affected by factors such as the carpet material, pile height, and the extent to which the fibers are embedded in the carpet. Therefore, a small amount of residual fluff does not necessarily indicate an issue with the dust collection performance of the device.

We recommend that you:

1. Enable Carpet Boost Mode.
2. Select Maximum or Strong Suction Mode.
3. Check whether the dust bin air outlet is blocked by any fluff or debris.
4. Increase the cleaning and auto-empty frequency to reduce dust accumulation.
