Lazy clean and houseguest

So while resting on the sofa the vacuum entered the room to continue cleaning the house. My friends had just arrived at the front door so I told the robot to pause.They came Into the house they looked at the robot for the first time. I said oh it’s cleaning up. They sat down and I told the vacuum to return to the dock, which it happily did. Now they were in shock, what it’s doing? They said. I said it’s going back to charge and clean itself and it can continue cleaning later once you’ve gone. There’s only this room to finish. It’s swept and mopped the other rooms. They went for a look at the other rooms as the robot went back to the kitchen and back into its dock. They were impressed on how clean the floors and how good the wood floors looked. I said it’s my day off from work, you don’t think I can be bothered pushing a vac around the house and scrubbing the floors when my little helper is available 24/7. The way they acted you would have thought I had introduced them to an alien in my house! I asked them so which of you two is vacuuming and mopping today? They said they will still arguing over who was getting that job. Shame I said, if you had one of these your floors would of been cleaned by the time you got back home. Again silence from them!
