Random question, my base station is in my living room but I want to use it upstairs that is all carpeted, do I just lift it and place it in a mapped area and it will do the task and return to starting point or do I get another base station as I don't want to be lugging the base about from floor to floor...

Hello. Once you have mapped your first floor level.  Charge the robot up in its dock. On the app click on the map which shows your current floor plan. Click on edit and select map management, change it from single floor to multi floor.  You can then carry the robot to a new floor level. Where you put it down is the place it will always return to on that floor. Let it do the mapping for that floor, make sure you then select the correct floor map. Click on clean genius and select custom, you can then select vac only, select all or by room so you can choose what it does in each room.

Yes, you only need to carry the robot upstairs. There is no need to purchase an additional dock, and we do not sell docking stations separately.

Before cleaning a different floor, please make sure that a map for that floor has been created first.

For multi-floor cleaning, please refer to the following:

1. Move the robot to the target floor where there is no docking station, then start a cleaning task using the app or the robot’s button.

2. If you are mopping, you can manually bring the robot back to the docking station whenever you would like it to wash its mop pads.

3. Once the cleaning task is complete, the robot will return to its starting point. You can then manually place it back on the docking station for charging.

Please note:
- Before mopping, make sure the mop pads have been washed through the app or manually dampened.
- If the robot returns to the dock during cleaning and is moved back to the original floor within 15 minutes, it will resume the cleaning task automatically.
